New Gift Shop Coming Soon in Downtown Lake Oswego

A new gift shop is set to replace Lucky Me in downtown Lake Oswego.
Let’s Celebrate is assuming the location at 385 First Street and owner Kristina Sobotka hopes it will open this summer. Lucky Me closed after nearly 20 years in Lake View Village earlier this year.
Sobotka said she’s been in the gift shop industry since she was 14 years old and has worked at various locations. She left the industry for a few years but is back via Let’s Celebrate.
“I heard from the Lucky Me owner that it was going to be available and I jumped on it. I had been looking in the area. It is a hot spot,” Sobotka said.
The shop will sell greeting cards, party items, jewelry, pajamas, men’s novelty items and more. However, there won’t be as much clothing.
“It will have similar stuff to Lucky Me, but will have some party items and more stationery and cards,” Sobotka said. “It’s going to be colorful and fun and whimsical and (a lot of) novelty.”
